Sunday Services at Cornerstone Church Liverpool
As we are now post the 19th July 2021 lifting of all legal restrictions from Covid-19in England, we are making some changes to Sunday services at Cornerstone Liverpool.
We will be holding one service each week at 10.30am from 25th July onwards. Our building is more than big enough to fit both of our congregations in, with significant room to spare so that if anyone would still like to maintain some social distancing, you will be able to choose to do this. We are asking everyone who comes to our services to follow government guidance on isolation since the changes on 16th August 2021, including having a negative PCR test result before attending a service if someone in your household contracts Covid-19.
We are no longer required to have pre-service registration or keep a record of who attends our services so please feel free to turn up any Sunday morning - we would be delighted to have you join us! We will also not be requiring anyone to wear a mask at our services, but if you would feel more comfortable doing so still that is absolutely fine with us. Perhaps most excitingly of all is the fact that we will now be able to sing together in worship on Sunday mornings - it is something we have sorely missed throughout the disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic so please warm up those vocal chords ready for each Sunday!
We will continue to use the main doors on Dovedale Road for entrance and exit purposes, and we have improvements to our foyer area planned for implementation in the coming months to make you feel more welcome. Our Connect team will still be on hand at each service to help with any queries you may have about our services.
Kids's Church and Creche will continue to run in a similar format to the past couple of months; please 'check in' your children (aged 6 months-11 years - Year 6) at the Olivedale Road entrance before returning to the main doors on Dovedale Road to take your own seat. As we are no longer restricted by social distancing regulations, we are planning for our children to return to their parents/carers for the final part of our services from 25th July onwards so that our whole church family can end our services together in worship and prayer. Further information about Kids' Church can be found on the link at the bottom of this page.
Although we are eagerly anticipating seeing our Sunday services resume most of their pre-Covid features, we appreciate that some people may still be shielding or struggling with other health issues which make attending in person too difficult. For this reason we are continuing to broadcast our services on our YouTube channel on this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdQjzXPpMAssfWBk2dpetug/featured
